Somebody got a new pair of shoes!

Due to the fact that Warren has fibular hememilia his legs are two different lengths.  The more he grows the more noticeable the discrepancy is.  We decided it was time to get Warren his first shoe lift!  This involved getting a prescription from his ortho doctor and then me running around to the ghetto a few times to finally get the right shoe!

A few weeks ago after a mess up, the shoe was ready.  I have to admit I was pretty excited about getting it and seeing how it worked!  I worried about how he would do walking on it, or if he would even walk on it!  Well Warren loved it!  He started jumping right away with no problems!  Now when we are out that is the first thing he shows anyone new.  He is doing pretty good walking in them.  He still falls occasionally but I think it has more to do with the way his ankle turns then the shoe.  Hopefully this shoe will last till his surgery!

They added 1 3/4 in. to the sole.
We also now have a surgery date for Warren.  He will have a sedated MRI on 8/13 and then his surgery will be 10/16.

Zoo Fun!

I am devoting this whole post to the zoo.  Why you may ask?  Well it is because I feel like we have spent our whole summer there!  In three weeks we have been to the zoo 8-9 times!  We have definitely gotten our moneys worth out of that membership.  Lucky for me both kids love animals so they have been more than happy to go each and every time!  This week we stayed away from the zoo except to take Jaden to camp, I needed a zoo break!
